Hey all! I'm switching from a compact state to a non-compact state. I'll be moving to Illinois in January and can't find on the Illinois board of nursing website what I need to do to transfer my license. Has anyone else switched to a non-compact state? Will I have to test again to get the license? Thanks in advance! All advice is appreciated!
I'm a recent LPN graduate and I would really love to work in Labor & Delivery. Does anyone know of places that offer LPN jobs in L&D? I'm currently in Tennessee and haven't seen any LPN's that work in this area, but I'm about to move to Iowa/Illinois.
I recently became a LPN and decided this was a better choice for me. Becoming a LPN first has allowed me to learn the basics of nursing. I think this will help me when I start taking classes for my RN. Becoming a LPN first also is the best option in my opinion because you go to school for one year (possible more or less in other states) and you can work for a while before going back to school.
