does anybody know what the job atmosphere is like in the UAE? i have friends in abu dabi but they work in business. i am a lpn in the usa and wonder if we are treated like rn or much worse like here in america. i love the fact that the pay is tax free. and my sons cant wait to go. and does anyone know the base salary for a lpn in the UAE?

I wasn't aware that UAE had the LPN level of nursing.

Most countries require RN not PN for jobs I too an unaware that they accept PNs

Have never heard of US LPN status being accepted anywhere else for immigration or travel nursing purposes.
As far as the ME, my understanding is that these days, they strongly prefer/ require Bachelor's degree nurses for that matter.
As far as taking children and/or spouses on an assignment, that also is quite problematic. It is my understanding that few ME assignments permit family to travel with you. Given the difficulty in getting permit to get one person in the ME, most companies do not want to permit for several nonemployees at the same time. I do not know your gender, but if you are female, the odds are stacked against you being able to take dependants.
