i am about to enter the HoHoKus school for lpn soon. I am wondering has anyone attended the school and graduated. I have a few other questions, such as the classroom enivirionment, teachers, students and was it worth your money?
I just finished that school and passed my exit. Dont go there it was not a good experience at all. People cant pass the exit and many people got thrown out for failing classes. They dont care about people only your money. What they dont tell you is that they now have people who graduated in nov 09 and only half of the class passed the exit as wll as dec 09 and now march 10 class.Thats like 140 people for 3 classes and maybe 50 people passed. No exit no diploma!!!! I would not even recomend that school to my worst enemy. I did graduate but it cost me deerly and i dont mean money. They killed my will to go back to school!!!!!
To those that say "LPN program is HARD" and students get kicked out: My gf is in her third lpn school, lol. She got kicked out first time for leaving her Clinical to go outside "to get something to eat". Second time for Talking back to her teacher(she answered her phone because one of her kids was having problem at school) and teacher yeld at her infront of the class(she didn't like that so she yeld back). The moral of this story is: Not everyone can be a nurse, it's hard because you have to be dedicated and responsible for people's well being. They are preparring you for a very hard Job. I love my friend but I hope she doesn't become a nurse.
So i offically started nov 22 and i totally love it so far, i am in the evening class and all the teachers there understand that the evning students have jobs during the day and some have children as well. i have my first test this monday and the teacher i have is amazing. If anyone has any questions ill do my best to answer,

I am interested in taking the LPN only course with Center for allied health nursing education in north jersey. does anyone know about pass rates or more importantly cost? I am in a CNA course now so I don't think I will be able to afford a 25K class
