LPN ENTREPRENEURS

Published

I have been a LPN for 6 years. I am venturing towards starting my own business. I want to also help new nurses, CNAs find employment without hearing that they have no experience. I live in New York and want to know if there are any other LPNs that have started their own business.

What do you want to do? Some states to run a CHHA or CNA program you must be licensed as an RN with clinical experience in aged care as that's the focus of most CNA courses for example

Thank you for the response JustBeachyNurse, I want to start a healthcare agency, that employs and teaches the CNA program and that will have information on LPN to RN programs through affiliations with the schools

I live in NY and I have one of my RN supervisor willing to work with me

I once knew an LVN entrepreneur who co-owned a couple of storefront trade schools in California with her husband. The programs offered by the schools included medical assisting, computerized office clerk, and childcare assisting.

Ok that sounds very interesting. I will do some research about that.
