Many community colleges are grumpy about taking credits from private institutions. They may accept your license as proof of competency, but not allow the credits to transfer. It could be a very big deal. Transfer options are a big problem for every student - outside the agreements like ASU has with MCCD it's all hit or miss, ymmv. Even with those agreements, sometimes you have to prove the college agreed to accept the credits - they all seem to have ADD when it benefits the college...

dang. well i'm inquiring about the lpn program from southwest and maricopa skill center. anyone have any info as to if there is still room left for those programs? i know those will transfer for sure. i want an adn from mccd since i'm planning on completing a bsn from a state university.
