Hi everyone! I was just accepted to Loyola Chicago's ABSN program (hybrid cohort) for Spring 2020 and figured I would start a discussion as a place for classmates to start meeting (assuming we'll probably transition this to Facebook ha) Looking forward to January! ?

Hi! I'm applying now for the hybrid cohort. Have they sent you any information regarding the calendar that the ABSN program follows? Is it the same as the general undergrad calendar? I also am curious about clinical placements as there seems to be very limited information on the website and my advisor avoided the question when I asked.

Nothing yet. Sorry know that doesn’t help. Good luck!

I believe it is mostly the same as the regular calendar but like @Zachmatsaid, we haven't heard anything official yet. For clinicals, the placements can change each semester so I think they don't release exact locations since they aren't always consistent. Plan to be all over the Chicago-area.
Communication so far has been pretty disorganized - I actually got an email from the Financial Aid office telling me to log in to the Student Center before I even got word of acceptance. I'm assuming this is just because the application was opened so recently and am hoping things get more ironed out!

I applied about two weeks ago and my application now says “admit checklist” instead of “application checklist” and it has all prerequisites listed instead of the application documents. Does this mean anything?

Yep means you were accepted. There should be an acceptance letter buried in there / one of the links.
There aren’t any links and the status of my application remains as “submitted”. I have not gotten an email or any notification of a change in status. I just logged into the application today to see if anything had changed and saw that so I was just curious. Did the same thing happen to you? I don’t want to get ahead of myself!

Yep same thing happened to me, forget how I found the digital acceptance letter, sorry.
Oh okay! Thanks for your help!

Sorry, it’s been a few months so can’t remember exactly, but it’s in there somewhere with the admit checklist.
