Hi everyone,
Thought I would get a thread started for Fall 2019 cohort. I just submitted my application and I'm anxiously waiting. I've been prepping for this all year when I started taking my pre-reqs through Portage Learning in April.
Hope to hear from y'all!

I haven't decided yet. I'm coming from California and this is all just sinking in haha. What about you?
Also, does anyone know if the majority of clinical sites will be outside of the city of Chicago? Most won't be, right? That seems to be the case, according to my adviser, but she's not very specific.

Hey, which Chemistry course are you taking at Portage? Is it difficult? I was accepted to Resurrection University and need to finish Chemistry by September and I am considering taking it through Portage Learning. I'm just not sure which one out of the three to take.

I am taking it now, heads up it is no longer CHEM 108, but CHEM121 and is no longer called General Lab Chemistry for Heath Professions. And yes Loyola will take it, I am in the Spring cohort and taking this as my last remaining prereq.
can anybody shed some light on their admission status and how they found out they got accepted? My application checklist changed to "admit checklist" yesterday. Today, I got a universal ID. Still have not received any email. Has this happened to anybody else? How long did it take to receive the email?
Hi everyone! I will be soon be applying for Loyola's Spring 2021 ABSN online hybrid program, and was wondering if anyone would be willing to share their experience now after having begun the program? I'm curious what the overall experience has been like so far, if you feel like it will be a valuable program that will prepare you for a nursing career, what the schedule is like/how manageable it is, what the online experience has been like for anyone doing it, and any general advice or observations you'd have for someone like me trying to decide if this is the way to go.
I live in Chicago and have a family, so the flexibility of the remote classes is appealing; I also have a car so travel shouldn't be a problem.
Thank you for any insights you're willing to share from your experience!!

@Jabawat I’m planning to work a shift or two as a pharm tech during the program but nothing more than 10 hours a week
