Anyone applying for Spring 2012 admission? Was wondering if anyone knew the stats of most people that get in, GPA, Pre-Req GPA, Volunteering, etc. How long did it take once application was sent in to get an acceptance letter?
Thanks!

Yes! I am applying to Loyola's ABSN program for the spring 2012 semester! So happy to find someone else who is too. I just sent in my online application yesterday, so I still have to do the letters of recommendation, transcripts, personal statement, etc... How has the process been for you so far? I thought I remembered hearing at the info session that we would be sent an email with further instructions for applying or am I making that up (or thinking of a different school)?
A girl in my CNA class that I took this past spring semester got into this program for the Fall semester. She made it sound like it wasn't all that hard to get into as long as you meet the GPA and general admission requirements. Not sure how accurate that is, but I'm hoping that's true! :-) Anyway, let me know how things go for you and if you have any advice for me - I'm a little nervous about writing the personal statement... Good luck!
Hi!
I turned everything in last week and am planning on calling them tomorrow to make sure they got all of my stuff(there was a lot to send). Hopefully it all got there. I am hoping I will be accepted, my GPA is around 3.2, but I don't know if that is good enough these days. I guess well just have to wait and see. Good luck to you!

I am glad to talk to other people about this applying stuff! I just sent in all my stuff last week. I do not know how they get back to us. Is it email or in the mail? I want to call next week and ask them if they received all of my stuff yet!
The thing I'm a little confused about is that how I'm supposed to turn all this stuff in. One page on the website says to turn everything in together, but then we can have our recommendation letters and transcripts sent directly to Loyola, which is what I'm doing. So that just leaves the essay and prerequisite completion sheet that I need to send in? Did you guys mail everything in all together or have some of those things sent separately? I'm worried about not appearing organized!
hi guys,
i just turned in everything in one envelope. i had the letters of recommendation given back to me and i put them in a manila envelope with the pre-course work sheet, personal statement and resume. i had the transcripts sent directly to the office of admission. hope that helps! did any of you guys call in yet to see if they recieved all your stuff? any idea of when they were going to sent out acceptance letters?

You're supposed to upload all the documents to the application pages on the Web site. There is a place for all these. The people writing your rec letters are supposed to upload them by way of e-mail they receive when you include their information on the site. Good luck!

Hey,
Has anyone been asked to do an interview? Any idea of when decision letters will be mailed???
There is no interview for the ABSN Loyola Program.
Thanks for the info. Are you in the program?
