I'm starting this thread, because I couldn't find one for this year's application process for Lower Columbia (LCC)'s LPN-RN program. Please share any helpful information! What are you using to study for the TEAS and Kaplan exams?

Wow I scored higher than that and haven't heard anything!

iamjjj,
Do you know if your friend applied for both the in person and online program. Maybe they called to see which they preferred and then they chose online as the preference. I am trying to understand their process but this is confusing haha. And Linda, I scored higher as well so fingers crossed we should be safe!! It only makes sense right? ?

Hello all,
I also applied to the LCC e learning program LPN to RN. I have a couple friends in the program now and scores 152 and above were accepted for combined scores last year, but we were also right in the middle of the Pandemic and I heard they didn't have as many people apply, so that's disheartening. I received a 164 this time around so crossing my fingers it's enough! I got in the 98th percentile (87%) on the Kaplan and I got a 77.3 on the TEAS. We will see if it's enough! All we can do is hope for the best!

I got 164 as well. I am obsessing over this I am so nervous ?
My best friend that's in it right now said the same thing happened last year where people that applied to both e learning and on campus got called first so they could make their choice and then it would potentially open up more spots for either side depending what those people chose. I live up in puyallup so on campus just wasn't an option for me. I was thinking now that we have some people from this thread once we find out who gets in etc we will make a facebook group so we can all converse with each other there too!

My LPN cohort would remind each other about assignments due and could ask each other questions, etc.

There are two ways to create a special area for your cohort, that are Terms-of-Service approved.
One is to create a facebook page. This link is allowed to be posted.
The other is to create a "Club" within the site, by clicking on the Breakroom link (upper left-hand corner, in the yellow bar) and in the green area, click Start a Breakroom Club.
Any other references or links posted are not TOS-approved, and will be removed.
We wish you success In your Nursing program!
Hello all!
I made a facebook for us! Whether you are officially in or not and if one of us doesn't make it I can move move admin to someone else if needed. I made the group private but it is visible to search so you should be able to find it, would love to discuss with you all and get to know one another!
