I'm starting this thread, because I couldn't find one for this year's application process for Lower Columbia (LCC)'s LPN-RN program. Please share any helpful information! What are you using to study for the TEAS and Kaplan exams?

Yes, I did get acceptance letter yesterday for fall elearning .
For those of you who just graduated- how soon can you take the NCLEX after graduation? How soon did you receive the authorization to test?

Any new graduates or current students at this school that can let me know about the LVN-RN eLearning program? I am a traveling LVN needing to continue my education on the West Coast this school seems pretty cool schedule wise but I want to know if this work load is ridiculous or not. I seemed like I dodged a bullet by choosing to not go to International College of Health Sciences and do not want to pick a school that will give me the same crazy work load. Pleeeease let me know any information you have.
Thankyou!
I graduated in 2023.
I did the on-campus track and it was ROUGH that first month of 4th quarter. We had to scramble and get all the skills checked off that everyone already had done in the first 3 quarters within that first week of 4th quarter because we had to start clinicals asap. All the instructors were amazing (especially Rebecca Lewis). The only negative experience was that I was paired with a horrible preceptor.
The LCC is a good school. There is a lot of work just like any other Nursing school. As you know Nursing school is not fun at all! However, it is manageable if you are determined, organized, and ambitious for your goal. I am a Single mom with two little kids one is disabled and under the Autism spectrum and I have a full-time Job. I was able to graduate and get my license so, if I can do it anyone can do it! If you have any questions, email me at [email protected]. I am more than happy to give you the information you need.
