Hello Everyone,
I need a suggestion please. I am giving my NCLEX-RN exam on july 28th 2011. I have been studying more than 5 weeks. We started kaplan since I joined the college and I have completed all the Q-bank- i had around 50-60%, DXtest-51% and readiness 57%. I did Q trainner 1-2,3,4 and 5. I have 60s in 1and 2 and 50s on 3 and 4. But when i gave 5th, i got 49%. I was really dissapointed with my result. When i reviewed, i found that I ended up getting 2 answers and pick up wrong answer at the end. I always look at the time and give test. I feel like i have test anxiety. So, would you suggest me to reschedule the date of my exam or not. I still feel like i know the content, I read all the kaplan book once and I am reviewing med again coz i keep on forgetting. I am also worried becz what if i get more from one part where i am weak.
I am studing almost like 10hours a day. I have been reading posting about low score in kaplan and passing the NCLEX. But still I am worried coz i dont wana make it too far. my thinking is i will give test 6 and If i get less than 60s i will reschedule exam a week later.
Pls suggest me and comment how should i study these few days. I would be glad to hear abt recent test taker so that i would have less anxiety.
thanks a lot guys.... It was a gr8 moment when i knew that i was passed... but Now job search is killing me. I am trying to move to texas but still job hunting is so bad that they need experienced people. I felt that its difficult to find a job for new graduate. Hope I would be dissapointed too much.

I too did the Kaplan review with the CD for several weeks before my NCLEX-RN. My overall percentages for correct answers were like 65% for the practice questions, sample test and CD exam. I was VERY worried. I took the NCLEX on July 25th and it cut off at 221 questions! I thought I failed because it cut off at an odd number, so I went home after the test and did the "pearson vue trick". My status was "delivery ready" and I got the pop up saying "unable to schedule at this time". That gave me a shread of hope. I checked the GA Board of Nursing website the following evening and my RN license number was posted!
Kaplan is alright with me....Good luck to you!
