Applicants to CARE ABSN 2024
Published
Hello! I am looking to see if anyone else has applied to LSU's CARE ABSN program for 2024 and if so has anyone heard anything back yet!
Hoping to find some other applicants!

I will be meeting with y'all for orientation this Summer to help with the transition into school, because it really is an overload in information they give you. I'll check back on this group to see when y'all have a FB group and you can add me into a group message that way I can answer questions for you all that way I can help with the information overload. If you have been accepted I recommend looking up the "health packet" for the school of nursing and begin working on all that needs to be done on that end such as immunizations, physical assessments, etc.
Hey, do you have a FB page? I want to message you and ask you some questions.

Hey, the mods of AllNurses have said it's not allowed I guess so maybe we can find a way to make a facebook group?
I personally don't know how to make one, but if you can figure it out I would be happy to join!
Katiekatsk99 said:Yes of course! Have you heard anything from the program specifically? Like after you set up your email have you received any further information?
No, I haven't heard anything from them after the acceptance email. Thats why im kind of lost. It is weird that they havent sent anything since.

I'm assuming it's because they have cohorts of DNP students that begin in the Summer so maybe they start by focusing on those students first?
I would bet that we'll hear more closer to May. If I hear anything I'll post in here until we can figure out a facebook group 🙂 I think someone posted in here awhile ago as well about them being a class president for the 2025 cohort. Maybe they would have more information on when we'll start to hear more information from the program itself.

Okay, thanks so much. I will do the same. See you in August!
