Hello! I am looking to see if anyone else has applied to LSU's CARE ABSN program for 2024 and if so has anyone heard anything back yet! 

Hoping to find some other applicants!

Hi, I remember during the essay Zoom that decisions would be coming out between March 11-15th!!

Thats what I remember @clarebearla1 but I wasn't sure LOL 😅 Have you heard anything aadditional from them?

Just received my acceptance! Do we know if there is a facebook group or anything?

Congratulations! Me too! In your letter did they tell you how to accept? Mine just had that details would be forthcoming.

I didn't see one attached or to the letter or anything but I bet we could start one!

Hey!! I saw this thread and I just got accepted to the LSU CARE program for 2024 and wanted to see if y'all knew about a facebook groupchat or any other type of groupchat!

Hey! I got in as well but haven't found any group chats or facebook groups.

I payed the acceptance fee that was linked in the acceptance letter and then got an email saying they will send more info soon regarding a student email where we will get more instruction!  I would totally be willing to start a  facebook group!

Yes! We should definitely start a facebook group. If you want to start it and send a link, that would be great! 

I haven't paid the acceptance fee yet but I plan to after I visit New Orleans this weekend.

I paid my acceptance fee ad afterwards they sent me an email link to set up my LSU health email. I don't know how to make a FB group, but I can make a group me!

To create a special place for your cohort:

1.  Link to facebook is the only social media allowed, per the TOS.
2.  Or, Members with at least 15+ posts OR who have purchased a Platinum membership can create a student "Club" for their cohort:

  • 2. Click on the "Breakroom/Clubs" link under "Communities" at the top of any page in the upper left on desktop or "Breakroom" under "Special Sections" in the upper right on mobile.
  • 3. Click "Start a Breakroom Club".
  • 4. Invite members at your discretion.

Keep in mind, clubs will not be moderated, unless a member reports an issue.
