Ok so my boyfriend spoke to Karla regarding my lottery number #44. And she says 30 people are already in the program, HOWEVER, they are trying to add 10 more spots by adding another hospital. The problem is that the hospital is "not cooperating" with the pierce nursing program for some reason. So Karla is trying her best to talk to that hospital so they can open 10 spots. The lottery number isn't how many people are ahead of.

For instance: subtract 30 from your lottery number = what spot you are in the alternate list. (i.e 44-30= I'm 14 on the list of alternates). My boyfriend says thats how they selected the people to the program. That is how they chose the Spring 2017 students who were accepted to nursing.

However, Karla says now they're going to do a different selection process "SUPPOSEDLY" which I hope no. First she has to talk to the hospital. She's trying so we should all pray and spread good vibes.

Karla knew who I was while she was talking to my boyfriend o.0 kinda scared me lol

I'm praying la County or Pasadena lets me in at this point arrrrgh!

Hi maybe you should call to pierce I called Karla yesterday because I didn't get any email from them and she resent me the email Somehow that email when to my trash email. I found out that I was the number 100 in their lottery

From the ones that got accepted do you guys know anything about orientation yet?? I got in late because my acceptance email got lost for some reason but now I'm scared I won't get all other emails. Please let me know if you guys get anything.

I haven't heard from them beyond a confirmation email that I have accepted a spot in their fall 2017 cohort. In it Karla said she was planning on sending info either last week or this week.

I called yesterday, Karla said she doesn't know yet because I am lvn to rn which is not decided. She doesn't know the time frame. So what do I do now. Does anyone know lvn to rn application result period and if I get accepted when do we start?
