Hi there,
Has anyone applied to LAC School of Nursing for Fall 2019? I thought I would get this post going so we can stay informed and help each other through this waiting process! What are your points that you calculated?

Multiple RN's whom I've had the opportunity to work with have great things to say about the clinical experience. They confirm that the program is hard, harder than most (not sure how they can make that comparison if you only do nursing school once) but I am up for that challenge.
Not sure how many LVN's they selected, I guess we will have to see if more LVN's post on here or wait until the Pre-registraion in May. So do you start third semester in the fall or next January?
Hi There. I was also offered and accepted a seat for the LVN-RN program. Glad to see another LVN. Did you get accepted for the Fall 2018 or January 2019 3rd semester start? I have a guaranteed spot for Winter but I am on the waiting list for Fall.
I start in January but hopefully I make it to start this August since I have to quit my job to to the summer transition course.
@Nurseintheemaking I was told interviews will be in late April. They will either email or send a letter to set up an interview day. Enjoy Coachella!!!
@Nurseintheemaking this is the only one!!! Lmao I’m taking a huge gamble. If it doesn’t work out I will apply to entry level masters programs but I am hoping to get in. We will see..
Hey you never know I hope you get in! I am going to do the same and start applying to Bachelor degree programs. If you have your bachelors degree I know that there are NP programs at Cal State LA that are offered. I should've applied to more schools and did better on my TEAS but next thing is to get my Bachelors Degree if I dont get in anywhere this round instead of paying to go to West Coast.
@Nurseintheemaking I’m just trying to save money. The master programs are so expensive & I am 30 already. I don’t want to spend the rest of my life paying back student loans. Hopefully we both get in! ?
Girl YES! i completely agree. Student loans are no joke and you regret it later on in life. I want to do the most economical route. Another thing is we can't look at our age either because the time is going to go by anyway. I know a nurse that became one at 45 after she was done home schooling her kids and wanted to do something with her life.

@2bNurseKevorkian don’t say that! It’s just one point. If you did well in everything else you should be fine. Don’t lose faith ?
