Hey, is there anyone who applied for Fall 2017 admission to LA County? Have you guys heard any news? has anyone called you? What are your thoughts?

So what courses do we take in the first semester? I hear there's a quiz you only get two chances to pass.

I believe you're talking about the dosage calculation quiz/exam. You only get two chances everywhere you go. Some schools consider 90% a passing whereas other schools want a 100%....

Does anyone know where we can get the study materials for dosage and calculations? I'm just wondering if all materials out there that are available are the same?

I believe you're talking about the dosage calculation quiz/exam. You only get two chances everywhere you go. Some schools consider 90% a passing whereas other schools want a 100%....

Yeah that's one... sounds hardcore..can't wait...I wish they would hurry so I could buy my textbooks..I wanna video tape every lecture and watch it when I get home...gonna get a video camera and a tripod if they allow it... I'll have collection that I'll review all the time.

For my VN program, I got both the text and workbook. Used the workbook to submit homework, but the textbook, it's still brand new. I am a visual learner so I went to youtube. Watch the videos, see what you think. Let me know if you have any questions.

I know for sure most of us already know what type of learners we are. I am a visual learner; I learn best by watching videos, drawing stuff out, watching someone do it, and for the memorization part, I write it over and over until it sticks. What type of learners are you and what are some examples of your technique?
