Any one here graduates of the program? Or are in the program?

thanks for the help willow. I averaged the micro lab and lecture myself and came up with an average of 3.66. do you know the gpa rankings between an A and a B at county? If it rounds to a B i'll have 77 points, but if it rounds to an A i'll have 84, so hopefully it rounds to an A.

As a current student, I would save your money on getting your CNA because after you successfully pass your 1st semester you can take an assessment/exam during 2nd semester in which you can become a CNA due to your experience from 1st semester. Focus on getting As in your pre-reqs so that you can get more points w/those classes instead of the little points from having a CNA plus you save SO much money

Wow, that's the kind of difference in points that could make all the difference. I think the cut-off last time around was about 82 points from what they say on this thread. I would hope they give you the A but I have no idea.

It's finally June! I wonder how much longer we'll have to wait to find out if we're in or not.

Some peeps found out a month before starting. Hope you get in!

Wow, time flew by pretty fast. I got accepted to csula bsn program (yay) so one more lucky student should get a seat in lacc program.

A month before starting!? That's crazy. I have to go to orientation at LA Harbor at the end of this month. So if I don't hear from County by then, I guess that's that.

Wow! Congrats! When did you submit your paperwork for CSULA BSN? How long was the wait to get accepted?

hey yeah ive already taken all of my GE classes like speech, socio, english, even hist, poly sci and some spanish classes. so im done with all of that. but like i said, my points arent enough. i dont know if being a CNA will help but i know alot of places really like it when they see that you are involved whether it be voluntarily or not.

Did anyone hear anything from County yet? I've heard nothing.

Haven't heard anything either.

@unsunghero Thank you! I applied last september. CSULA only accepts one pool of applicants a year.
