Hi Everyone!

I didn't see a thread for the Spring '23 application cycle at LACCONAH, so I figured I'd make one myself.  Feel free to drop in with any questions, comments, info, or stats! We got this☺️!

I am not planning on working but regarding the vaccines; I have the first booster but are we eligible for the second already?

I don't have the booster ?  how many boosters do we need to have ? Also do you just make and appt for the health check ? Is there anything we need to check or take to our doctors  appt ?? ?

I also see in the letter that we must complete “health clearance”. So we need to see our doctor for a health checkup? Do we suppose to bring any form for the doctor to fill out then?

Has anyone gotten through to make an appt with employee health for the health clearance? Every time I call it says they are closed but I call during office hours

I called early Friday morning and have a health screening appt on the 18th. Be prepared to be on hold for a bit as EHS also handles health screenings for other nursing schools too, not just ours. From my understanding, our record must show a cleared health screening before we can connect with HR to schedule our Live Scan appointment.

OMG I am missing something??? I sent in the on-line information sheet to start the process for live scan. but what am I suupose to do next? was I suppose to recieve an email or something after,  to scheudle for a health scree . somebody help me , im soo lost .

Once that live scan form you filled out is okayed by HR you’ll get an email saying what to do and who to call next. Might take a day or two to get the email. I just realized today is a holiday so not much can happen today

I didn't receive nothing either and I also send my on-line information. I send an email to (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) asking her what papers I need to take to my doctor if any and about the live scan. I will keep you posted if I hear from her.

I was just as panicked as you bestdayeverrr. LOL. I hope I receive an e-mail with instructions Tuesday. Fingers crossed. If not, I will call the school.

PS... Should we make a facebook group or something like that? I don't have an app preference. Just some place that's specific to our cohort?

 allnurses only allows links for fb to be posted. There’s this one: https://facebook.com/groups/433326152245966/
