Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hi Everyone, I will be applying to the nursing program at Lacconah during the application period of January 15 to February 15 2021. I will be applying with 78 points. On the website it says points required for acceptance have ranged between 77 and 82 points during the past 2 years.  Has anyone had 78 points as well and was given acceptance into the program? Also what are everyones points that are planning to apply to the generic RN program here.

Hi guys, applications are now open. The portal is not letting me add employment. Anyone else having this issue?

couldn't add employment but for me its not related to nursing so I skipped it

Hey, I applied when the app window opened. Just keeping the thread going.

Hi, I’m planning to apply for Fall 2022. It’s my top choice but seeing all these notices of previous cohorts getting pushed back has me nervous. Does anyone know if the Spring 2022 application process went smoothly? Anyone know the point threshold for admittance in the last cohort? I have 87 points pre-interview, but it sounds iffy whether interviews are happening anymore. Debating whether I should retake English 101 this Winter because I only have my AP score which counts for a C.

Spring 2022 application period had interviews and there cut off was 86 points before the interviews.. pretty competitive. I didn't get in but reapplying to their LVN-RN Bridge keeping my fingers crossed the threshold isn't that high for the LVN-RN application period.

Sigh. I was afraid the number of points required had jumped. I know Pasadena City College also had a jump in their last cohort. Looks like I’m gonna cram English 101 into my Winter session along with my PE req.

From what I’ve read, LVN to RN program is less competitive (smaller selection pool), so good luck.

Hi guys! I was accepted for the Spring 2022 semester and wanted to get some opinions from current students...is this program doable? Obviously every nursing program is going to be rigorous and stressful, however I have heard from a number of people that this school is “brutal” and after checking the BRN, I found that the on time graduation rate is low. Feeling a little worried and discouraged since I worked so hard to get here and now I’m worried I am not making the right choice. If anyone would like to give me some input I would so greatly appreciate it. Thanks guys. ?

Hello,

Can someone let me know what the math requirement was to apply?

Thank you.
