Looking for a specialty class on wound care

Hi there.

I was just wondering if anybody knew of classes or schools that offered a wound care class. I am not looking for CEU's. the last place I worked we had a wound Care nurse and she had special training. This nurse is in California, and I am in Ohio. If anyone has any suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!!!

Emory University in Atlanta offers the CWOCN class, and if Im not mistaken part of it is online.

I would ask the wound care specialty suppliers for classes. I am sure all of them offer classes. What do you use? We use alldress, panafil, accuzyme, mepilex, mefilm, normagel. Talk to the reps, they will train you and usually for free too. Ask them when inservices will be held near you.
