I am graduating from nursing school in May and will be joining the Air Force. The problem is at this point, it looks like I won't be going away for Office Training until next spring. Does anyone have any ideas of short-term nursing work I can do between May and next spring. I know no hospital will hire me for that time period on the floor. I don't mind traveling if I had to do flu clinics or something. Any suggestions on where to look and what to look for? I'm in the DC suburb area and would like to live at my parents house between graduating and entering the military. Thank you!
Excuse me, OfficeR training.

Have you thought about camp nursing..the sleep away camps need nurses short term..and in part of the time frame you are needing.

Some hospitals would probably hire you as occassional if you don't need benefits right now. The perks of occassional are that you can choose when to work and how much to work. Chances are you will be able to pick up enough shifts to get more than full-time work if you want to, especially if you work for more than one hospital.
