Looking into RN programs at Wcjc sugarland, any info?

U.S.A. Texas

Hi everyone,

I am new to this forum so please forgive me if I have put this in the wrong forum.

I already have a B.A. in Corporate Communication from the University of Houston but am looking to transition into nursing.

I am looking into the Second degree BSN at Uhv but am not sure I will make it as it seems very competitive. I plan on taking my sciences again as it has been WAYYYY to long for me.

My question is have any of you gone through the adn program at wharton county junior college in sugarland? I am thinking about doing this program, then possibly going to finish my BSN.

I cannot seem to get any advisor on the phone or email to answer any of my questions. I know that you must take the ACT regardless of educational level, but that is pretty ,much all that I have found.

Does anyone know where their clinicals are held? What they are like? Any advice that may be helpfuil?

Thank you all for your time!!!!:redbeathe

Congrats future freshman...its a long, hard road and youd better be up for the ride!!!

WCJC Grad Dec 2011 :smokin:

Ooo.. Any advice MissMe for us as we embark on this journey.

I emailed them and they said they put me in the system. They just gave out the date for orientation... I am soo excited!

Congrats Ladies in getting in! I have been considering applying to this program and I was wondering what your GPA's were? Also had you completed many/all of the co-req's?

Thanks

I'm applying to WCJC ADN program for 2013.. What were y'alls GPAs and ACT scores?

Hello is there anyone that is currently or graduated from the wcjc adn program? If so I heard there is drug testing once you get accepted and you have I pay for it. Is it just one drug test or multiple ones throughout the program you'll need to pay for?

does anyone know when the drug testing takes place for wharton county jr college
