See your state Board of Nursing for a list of approved courses. I live in CA and there are not a lot around. Fortunately there is one coming up in the fall that will be enrolling in. I was told by a nurse recruiter and some of the people on the board that going to work for a rehab or LTC that has "skilled beds" are a good place to start. That is what I am trying to do per diem until I can get my refresher course. The study part is only about half a day for 4 days for 2 months and the last 2 in clinical is all day so no work for a couple of months. Hope that helps. Call the corporate hospital nurse recruiter and see if they can give you any ideas. Hope this helps. I don't know why it's so hard to find a nurse refresher course. There are very few here in CA.
