I'm a potential LPN student trying to look at my options. My actual goal is to become an RN with a BSN. I applied to the 4-year BSN programs late due to financial issues so all the programs were full plus my gpa from my last school isn't the greatest. I don't want to wait another year to apply and then be disappointed if I don't get in. So I'm applying to a few LPN program and figure I can then do a bridge program as soon as I'm done. I also figure I'll be able to improve my GPA.

I'm just looking for some programs in the following areas: South Jersey, Delaware, Philadelphia Area (W

here I'm living now) or Maryland, Virginia, D.C.(Where I'd like to move when I'm done).

I just want to make I have plenty of choices when I'm done. Thanks for your help!

try the community colleges in the area and also try some private schools

The best way to find programs in your state is to go to the Board of Nursing sites. They should have all the accredited schools listed by programs. good luck!

I'm curious to know if there are any accelerated LPN-RN programs in the tri-state area. I will have a 3.0 GPA upon entering, so I'm not looking for anything overly competitive or with crazy waiting lists. :)
