Looking for help finding PHN Job any suggestions?

Hi Everyone,

I love nursing. What I like most about it, is the ability to be an advocate for those who don't have anyone, or few people who care. I also enjoy patient eduation. Currently, I'm working as a Correctional Nurse which offers a load of challenges. Wanted to expand my horizons and try my hand at Public Nursing, but don't know where to start. Can anyone give me some suggestions. I live in south jersey. All the good I've heard about public/community nursing sounds great! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Take care.

Update#2: I have just submitted an additonal app for a PH position which is closer to where I live. The good thing about this is that, someone that I currently work with knows the DON and can put in a good word for me. Now if this one offers me a position, although the pay may be less than what I'm used to, I'm going to take it, because, it's closer to home. Pray for me! :D
