Looking for good websites in which to do Nursing prereques

I am starting to get serious about commiting to my nursing education. I am hoping to do my prereques online so that I didn't have to deal with classroom time any longer than I will have to. I would also like to know of any actual nursing classes that can be done on line. Also, how much will they cost?

And yes, I am getting serious about getting my drivers license soon as well, but still, I would like to avoid being away from my home town for extended periods of time. Therefore I would also like to know how much time will I have to spend away from home while doing the classes that I cannot do over the internet?

For the prerequisites I'd check into CLEP testing. They are accepted by all colleges. Some colleges limit the number of credits you can get using this method though, so you might want to check into how many the colleges you want to attend will allow.

The CLEP fee is $50. If you aren't registered at a college you will have to pay the college you test at a fee to use their testing department. Those fees are generally $10-20.

I've taken the CLEP for Human Growth and Development which was worth 3 credits and General Humanities which is worth 6. I'm about to take General Biology which is worth 8.

The tests are very passable. I was scared by them at first, but I have come to find that it is easier for me to learn the material required to pass the test than it is to attend the class.

CLEP tests will also be much cheaper than an online class I would think.
