Looking For Work

Fellow nurses,

I need some help and I hope some one can show me the path.

Two and a half years ago I lost first my youngest brother, then two months later I lost my Dad. I was working nights and felt if I kept working it would help me get through. Well, needless to say I had some opiates (oxycodone) that I was using for a broken elbow (this happened at work, our floor was putting carpet in and I slipped in the glue for the carpet no signs were posted and down I went).

I was UA'd because of my odd behaviour, and here I am two and a half years later.

I went through a program, still go to a meeting once a week and now I am ready for work.

I have put out a few applications, but I am scared:uhoh21: :imbar . Does any one have any thoughts, advice, concerns---------any thing to get pass this.

Well if it was a legit Rx, you should have had no problem. Did you provide proof of the Rx when submitting to the UDS???? Sorry I am just not sure what all happened here. I wish you well and that you find a job very soon! Also, so sorry about the losses of your dad and brother. How hard that must have been for you.
