I am looking to start LVN school in the spring and I am undecided on a school. Could anyone give me advice on where to go in San Antonio? Thanks.

Contact the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners for more information. They maintain a list of all state-approved LVN programs in Texas, and might serve as a valuable resource to get your question answered.

Here is a BNE website link to the approved LVN programs in Texas. I can't tell you anything about them though, since I'm not from SA.

Hi, Here in San Antonio, the 4 LVN schools that I know of are The Baptist school of nursing, St Phillips, Galen and Texas Careers, as mentioned in the previous post, check with the BNE for the approved schools & nclex pass rates.
Hi nursen75, what route did you take in becoming a nurse? Did you attend any of these schools?

Hello,
I just graduated from the VN program at St. Philips college. Its too late to apply for their spring 08 semester. The next session will begin August of 08. But anyway I figured I'd put this on here anyway. Its a 12 month program and I think my total fees, uniforms, books etc.. adds up to about 5,000. Which isnt bad!
