I am a resident in Claremont NC and am looking for any information you have on schools in the area for getting a CNA. I am just starting to gather info so whatever you can give me would be great.
Thank you for your help.

Contact your local community college or adult technical center. look in the yellow pages under schools, and call your local hospitals. Many hospitals train CNA staff.
Good Luck to you!

Hello stbearlover1,
You might also want to check with some of the nursing homes in your area. A lot of the nursing homes will give you free training.
Thanks,
Butch:rolleyes:

Hello! I grew up in Conover, went to school in Claremont, and I think I can help you.
I got my CNA 1 at CVCC. It was a night class, about 6 months long. They also had a daytime class. Go to the west building off of 64/70, near the stoplight (continuing ed class, the building with the playground out front).
Also, check at the Lutheran Home off of Springs Road. They used to have a CNA class that was available also. Good luck!
PS- I worked at Abernathy Center in Newton after graduation. I LOVED it!
