hello i am looking to find out info on how to get started on the hha training :nurse:

What's "hha?" I'm assuming it's home health something, so...if it's home health, are you wanting to be a CNA or an RN or something else?

Are you asking about home health aide? I am not sure where to get training. Can you contact a local home care agency afiliated with a hospital, maybe they can guide you.

I went to a four year College, were I took my pre-requistes towards Nursing. However, the grades I received was not high enough to get into the Nursing progarm. I was informed that the only way for me to repeat the classed was to go to another College; and ask them to not honor the classes/grades I received in A&P II and Micro., so that it will not be aveaged into my GPA.

There aren't that many 4 year Colleges close to were I live; only 2Yr College's.

*I have an AA in liberal Arts and a BA in Liberal Arts- Minor: Psychology.

I know that it may not make since to go to a 2 year College for my Nursing Degree; but this may be the only way for me to obtain my RN Degreee sooner. As you can see I have done a lot of year's in College already, and Nursing :nurse: is something that I have been tring to get into for years. :bluecry1:

Currently, I am 37 years old...I know if I do not keep trying I will regret it later in life. Becoming a Nurse is something I have been want to be since a kid.

I need some answers from you Nurses out there!

You get your HHA (home health aide) by taking the regular old CNA (certified nursing assistant) classes. I think it's a month or so long. At the end you take slightly different written test in addition to the simulation patient situations that the CNA student takes. Call your local comm. college to see how it works, but that's how it works for where I'm at.
