Long Island University Summer 2015

Hello, I'm applying to LIU for summer 2015. I chose LIU because I think it'll be impossible for me to get in elsewhere.

For anyone who applied and got accepted here what were your grades in prereqs and your TEAS score and overall GPA. I'm not really looking for people who have 3.5 prereq gpas and above because you guys are obviously amazing

Anyone with iffy grades in prereqs get accepted?

As for your question, my grades were not that great too! I have a 3.3 gpa overall and about the same for the pre requisite courses. I'm slightly worried that my sociology/anthropology elective will not satisfy the requirement. But other than that, I feel very confident in my application. I have almost 200 hours of volunteer experience between an emergency department and nursing home. And I still haven't heard an admission decision yet either.Good luck with your application and let me know how you do.

I got in with a so so Proficient TEAS score of 74.8, my undergrad GPA was 3.08, my pre-req's GPA was 4.0 (Which consists of A&P 1 and 2, Gen Chem 1 and 2, Lifespan human development Psychology, nutrition, and medical microbiology)

I know its a long shot for me but I'm trying anyway. My gpa is about a 3.0 both overall and prerequisites but I have a c- in micro

School's don't accept C- grades for transfer, so I would suggest retaking microbiology and work hard on getting an A, this will help you a bit. If you can, maybe try retaking A&P 2. Good luck!

Yeah, If all else fails, which it probably will lol I'm taking micro at a community college over the summer.
