I am new to this site and this is the first time that I have posted to any board. I completed 1st sem. clinicals in Dec '01. I was in 2nd sem. clinicals but had to withdrawal due to family emergency. So now I will be starting again this week. During the time out of school, I had no patient contact. I have gone over all the skills that I learned during the 1st semester but I am still really nervous. Has anyone experience a similar situation?

I think you'll do fine once you get back up and rolling.

Welcome. Due to my own health issues I had to opt out of the nursing program last year. Now I am healthier and ready to take on the challenge! 1st semester nursing student here. good luck to you.
