2015 Lonestar spring hopefuls.

Hi there everyone. I'm one of the 2015 hopefuls for lonestar. Just wondering if anyone has any information on application datelines for 2015 spring. The school sites don't happen to have that info(unless, I am missing something). Any info would be appreciated. Thanks and good luck to everyone.

Hi everyone! I will reintroduce myself since I haven't written in a while.. I applied to Kingwood as my only choice and I am dying to know if I got in. My score was an 11.54. Hurry up and send emails already!!!!!!!!

Oh and assuming we get accepted.. Where do we get our scrubs from? Does the school sell them? Does anyone know? Also, current students: Any preference on brand? Thanks guys!!

@dawno and msericaleah: Don't worry guys!!!keep your hopes up!!.. is a big accomplishment just to have come this far.. it took me 1.5yrs to be ready to apply.. and I took the HESI about 3 times! .... never give up!!

@Gabicita Thank you! I'm hoping so but so many people apply of course so I know people have WAY better scores.

@dawno For ADN Program its 10.44 and for the LVN Program 6.44 I probably have the lowest score of everyone applying. I'm trying to think positive but its hard!

@lucylusp congrats on a great score! I'm sure you're not gonna have to worry!

I went to orientation a couple of months ago for the LVN program and the school does not sell the scrubs. We were told for that, that as long as the blue color was matched we could get them from anywhere. I would think it could be the same for the ADN program as well.

@lucylusp: they should sell the scrubs at the bookstore in ur school, but most likely u can buy ur own brand as long as is the color ur school requires. I was reading the nursing manual (they have it in the nursing dept web of lonestar), and in it u can see wht do they expect about length and fitting of the scrubs.. n a tons of other info..

I was reading previous forums related to the Lone Star ADN program, and on one of them the earliest acceptance letter received was October 1, with the application deadline being September 7 I think. If I have to wait that long I might as well go into hibernation

Hi James, when I previously applied for Kingwoods LVN Program this summer the deadline was May 23 and I got my Acceptance as a Alternate Letter by email on June 3. Kingwood had it noted that for this period letters would be sent in September so we could be hearing something at ANYTIME!!!! I was checking my email everyday so often at random times, then I forgot about it and something told me GO CHECK IT! Sure enough it was there! :)

Thanks for the info, that's reassuring! I'm checking my email when I wake up and before I go to sleep.

Hopefully someone receives something soon so we will know all of the letters/emails will be on their way!

I really hope they don't take that long this time!!..@twinkletoes: well the bookstore from cyfair does sell the scrubs.. n I imagine u can get those under ur financial aid account just like anything else in the bookstore.. I haven't been in the kingwood campus bookstore, but I figure they must work similar..

OMG! A lady just called me from the "Health Occupations Department" at Lone star wanting to verify what my number one campus choice was! They're looking at the apps!!!
