Anyone applying?

I live off the beltway between 290 & I-10. I think they had so many letters that the post office was overwhelmed trying to sort all them at one time.

hey yalll, i just checked my maill.. and no mail from cyfair-lonestar. i live literally like 5 minutes away from the college. if i receieve any mail tomorrow, ill let you guys know and if i get accepted.. since my score was only 11.09... if i get accepted that means everyone can.. LOL. Goodluck you guys! :yeah:

All mail in Houston goes through 1 of 2 distribution centers in the city. One is near downtown and the other is north. So, how close you live to the campus doesn't really matter. Now, if you live close to a distribution center that could help.

Anyway, crossing my fingers that we get letters tomorrow!

I know right!! The library sent that letter on the worst day omg it was awful timing :( thanx everyone for sharing my anxiety and stress with me!

Wow people! So much stress!! I was crazy yesterday, no mail for me either, surely today must be the day!! I think they should send certified letters on something this important....anyway, don't get my mail til the afternoon so I guess I will chew my nails til they bleed....lol :lol2:

ok by the time i make it home tonight (late) i want to see everyone posting that they either got accepted or they have not received thier letters!!!!:D

Watch this happen, our letters don't come today OR tomorrow....we all have to wait until TUESDAY since Monday is a holiday....UUUUGGGGHHHH!!!! :grn:

On to my beth5278 experience...I like many of you have applied to other schools and I have been expecting a transcript evaluation from one in particular. I received that on Monday. Fortunately I didn't read the message boards over the weekend or even that day because they have started sending out some denial letters. Well, I received another letter from them yesterday...my heart was racing and I was panicking...I finally calmed down enough to tell myself at least I tried and just open it up and get it over with...it was ANOTHER transcript evaluation!!!!! I have never been so happy to open up what I thought was bad news!!! I feel like I've jumped one hurdle and made it through the first cut!

Good luck to everyone!! Looks like we'd have a very fun bunch if we all get in!!!!

@beth5278...it seems like when you are waiting for something like this it takes FOREVER...I read somewhere that they are not even mailed from the college? That doesn't seem to make much sense! Then again, many of the things they do don't seem to make much sense! lol
