Hi, just wanted to start a post about my process of applying at lonestar. Hope to hear from other applicants! I have just taken my HESI and will be applying for the spring semester with a score of 11.54
Jenn if it makes you feel any better my husband is interviewing for a job in corpus which means I will be stuck here with our child and trying to juggle nursing school. We have no family that lives near here and not a lot of extra income for care. It's his dream job though so I couldn't say much. I am stressing though.

You know what the kid care at kingwood has been really beneficial for me since I never really had family or the income for child care for him. That's why I never worked since he was born. Since kid care at the college is only 50 bucks a week is the only reason why nursing school is even possible for me right now. Once I got acceptance I was afraid I wouldn't be able to accept since I have always had to stay at home with him. I than looked into the childcare at the college and enrolled him immediately for the spring semester.
That makes me feel better. I just want school to start to all this anticipation wears off. I am just hoping I get day classes and not evening classes. If I do get evening than I have a back up plan for that too.

I live in cypress and took classes at university park. It didn't cost extra. If you pay taxes in any lonestar district, I believe you are good at any.
