Hi, just wanted to start a post about my process of applying at lonestar. Hope to hear from other applicants! I have just taken my HESI and will be applying for the spring semester with a score of 11.54

Mal what red lab kit? What's in it? How much is it?

Go to rnsg 1105 and module 1. . Go through each and the pre lecture quiz is at the end.

Do we have to print the pre lecture quiz or not?

The kid is around $85. It has syringes, bandages, gauze's, folly kit etc. It's in the book store.

What pocket kit? First I'm hearing of this. I think there is bandage scissors in the red kit right? I think I'll just bring the whole red kit as well.

If you've seen students carrying around a red bag? Well that's it. The fist time I heard of it was last night and then I talked to some people today and most of them bought it and were going to buy it today or tomorrow. Most of the things we probably won't use this semester (Foley catheter) but I went ahead and got it. Professor K said that we would need our kit tomorrow and reiterated to bring the penlight, scissors, hemostats, badge, watch, stethoscope, and scrubs. The kit does have a pen light, bandage scissors, and hemostats in it. I think I paid $80 for it.

Are y'all doing Mod 1&2 for tomorrow or just mod 1?

And Mal I am only doing module 1. I believe module 2 is next week.

I saw that. She also said something about doing the quiz on campus. Is that the pre lecture quiz?

I have a question for anyone who just started the program or has been accepted to start. Did anyone here get accepted with a B in A&P, an A in Eng, and a B in Psych? I am currently retaking Psych but curious if I really even need to. I'm taking the HESI the first week of February and have all my prereq's done. I want to apply next month if possible at North Harris. Thanks for any info!
