I thought about health care of professional but the lady I spoke with could never give me a answer concerning using GI Bill
I hope you get in
My husband got his LMRT thru them and he used the GI bill and later he used post9/11

Congrats on choosing to pursue your RN. I am currently doing the same. I just submitted my formal paper application to Kingwood on Friday, to start in August. I applied with a 7.74/8.
I'm assuming that since you said it would start in June, you applied to Montgomery, North Harris or Tomball?

Hello I am also an LVN and applied to all campuses! Recently declined by UTH for the pacesetter program. I have a score of 7 on the score sheet. Kingwood is my first choice, North harris is my 2nd choice
What is the pacesetter program if you don't mind me asking
Congrats, and welcome!
I too am applying to Kingwood, and tried applying to the other campuses but was given wonky information when I contacted both Montgomery and NH about the process for applying to multiple sites. It really seemed as if they didn't want me applying, and didn't want to provide me the necessary information, if they weren't my first choice, which Kingwood was.
Pacesetter is a program at UT Houston in which you complete about 60 credits in prerequisite classes and then apply for RN-BSN in which you complete in 15 months. It's very competitive. So basically I have all my classes completed that I would need for BSN but haven't been able to get in. So I plan on doing my associates then do a BSN program after.
Fast and furious....that's what it is.

I applied to the Transition program as well (score of 7.328). My first choice is Tomball and 2nd is Montgomery. I'm hoping we find out something tomorrow. I read last year they got blue cards(cleared background check) in the mail like two days before getting their acceptance/alternate email. Did anyone get one of these? I am just curious cause I have not so far. Trying to be patient.
