Lonestar 2015 fall hopefuls

Hi everyone! Has anyone applied for the fall yet? I'm studying for my HESI and will be applying soon!

Did they send it to just the school email or to the email you put on the application?

I was told that we should hear back approximately one month after the applications are due. I think Montgomery is one of the last campuses to notify people, which sucks.

Last year people were notified pretty early--around this time for other campuses. I am wondering if and how the new points system will affect this. In effect, it shouldn't. How they choose candidates has not changed; they put names on a spreadsheet, organize them by score, and call to offer spots to the first 40 or 50 names. (I think they also have to do some sort of preliminary background check, too.) But still, new is new. I hope the wait isn't too long.

ETA: Is anyone else having trouble checking their e-mail? I log on to myLonestar and click on e-mail. It asks me to log in, but when I do, it says it can't find me. It doesn't matter if I am using a computer, or which browser I am using, a tablet, or my phone. :( I'll have to call on Monday. It seems the problem is with Microsoft Office? I hope it's not just me!

I put my personal email on the application. I hope they email that instead of my school.

They sent it to my school email. But that was the only email I included on my application.

I used only my personal email on the application but I will also be checking back on my lone star email to make sure.

When I turned in my application I was told everything will go to your lonestar email. I have mine forwarded to my personal email which I get on my phone. I am constantly checking my email. I hope we hear next week.

I just spoke with a girl who was accepted to the LVN at montgomery. She said she put her personal and it was sent to her lonestar account. She did mention that a week later she got a letter in the mail. This last week of waiting is making me so impatient.

How do you forward your Lonestar email to personal one?
