Lonestar 2014 Fall Hopefuls!

Ok I know it's very early starting this but I am so excited I couldn't help it! Application period doesn't even start until January! My journey has been a long one and I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel so I am sharing a little of that experience here and I would love to hear from others as well.

I just received my clearance letter from the BON so I am clear to apply in January for North Harris and Montgomery ADN programs, unfortunately I missed Kingwood. At this point I have an 11.1 and I'm about to retake the HESI so we shall see what is in store for me. I'm done with all my pre-reqs for my BSN and I'm so ready to start the next phase of my education and get on with more taking care of people! It's been 25 years since I decided I wanted to be a nurse. Twenty years of raising my kids, taking care of soldiers' families and single soldiers and eight years of riding in an ambulance later, I'm ready to follow my dream! Watch me go!

Hello everyone!

I just called the nursing department at Montgomery (where I applied).... the lady told me it will be more than 2 more weeks before they send out e-mails, because they are still waiting to hear from their main office of who they need to send letters too. The anticipation is killing me!

That was just for Montgomery though right ?

My sister and I both applied for the basic track RN at Montgomery....no email yet!

I would assume that if the main office goes through the applications, and then sends the outcomes to the separate locations, it would be for all of them. Just from what I was just informed. :(

I talked to cy fair last week they told me we would find out this week

Not sure last spring everyone got accepted April 3rd and Montgomery got theirs April 18th. Could be but maybe not lol. I hope not!

I honestly don't think it's gonna be today though. Probably tomorrow or Wednesday. Soo wrong I just got a email from NH about a health message program. Way to get me excited for nothing!!

That's how I was over spring break I got a letter from lonestar tomball and I panicked and it was for their honor program -_-

I wouldn't doubt Montgomery will be the last to send out notices. At least if North Harris sends out notices before I'll know if I get accepted there then that would make me an alternate at Montgomery. Ahh I am so impatient. I hope atleast one campus let's people know this week!

I applied for Tomball as my first pick but I honestly don't care where I get picked so long as I get in. Notification from Atleast one campus would be awesome. I'm rooting for North Harris since my odds are better there.

Hello Everyone! I hope everyone is doing well and their nerves are not shot yet! I actually just turned in my application in for Kingwood's LVN Program. I thought I would have been able to apply into other programs as well but I wasn't prepared. I do feel great that I'm actually an APPLICANT! But I cant help but feel SO TERRIBLY NERVOUS as well. My score is pretty low and I can only imagine the other great scores out there. I have a 6.44 score :(
