LoneStar College Kingwood summer 2012 application period

Turned in my application I didnt have to have a 75 on the biology part thank goodness, it was seperate from A&P, on the a&p part I got a 90. I was so worried. I also turned my packet into North Harris the director said they havn't had that many applications turned in so it might be a good sign. Kingwoods box looked kinda full though.

Eeek that makes me nervous that it looks full! Lol I mean, I knew it would be, but I was pretending it wasn't until now! :uhoh3: Haha! Guess we'll all find out soon enough!! Good luck and hope we ALL get lettersssss!!

Hi all! There is another thread going about this application period. I just took the Hesi on the 31st (Friday). I will be applying to Kingwood as 1st choice. I don't have my official score yet but it should be 11.84. English comp. score (96) I tried to call Valerie at Kingwood on Friday but she was out of the office until Tuesday. :no: So, I am just sitting tight until Tuesday. I am soo nervous about this whole process!! Good luck to everyone else who is applying this session.:)

Hi all. I've applied to the spring ADN program at Lonestar. The Quest Basic track is my first choice (I was told 20 applicants are admitted) and the Kingwood traditional as my second choice. I have an 11.68 score.

Hello all! I have a question... has anyone heard of anyone getting accepted with a score lower than 11.1? Unfortunately I got B's in both A & P classes. My HESI scores are as follows:

English Composite: 93.33

Grammar: 94

Reading Comprehension: 94

Vocabulary & General Knowledge: 92

Math: 98

A&P: 92

HESI OVERALL SCORE: 94

My science GPA is what is bringing my overall score down to an 11.0332

Any responses appreciated and good luck to everyone! :)

Did you apply already? It closed yesterday. If you did then good for you because you should def apply with that score. You never know! You could be picked as an alternate!! If I were you though I would maybe register to take one of the a&p classes over in Jan just incase. That way if you don't make it then you can reapply with a better score during the next app period. I applied to Quest basic! Has anyone posted the Kingwood Quest Basic hopefuls scores ? I want to see where I'm ranked in relation to others applying for the Spring 2013 Quest program!

I also applied to Quest basic, low score 11.06, I will probably have to retake one of the pre-requisites and get an A.....for the next Quest application period, but I figured I might as well apply anyway. I wish I knew how many students were accepted for Quest, when I attended one of the information sessions, the person speaking did not have too much info about Quest. She said each class is a little different. Has anyone heard how many would be accepted for Quest?

In our information session, they said that 20 people were accepted to each Quest class (so 40 between the 2 classes). Since it doesn't cost anything to apply, you might as well try. Good luck to you!
