It may be early but around this time, those applying to Fall 2020 are engulfed in an A&P course trying for the grades needed. Collaboration and early encouragement can only help. Fall seems to be the large cycle and a lot have had the same instructors. Some of us could even be sitting by each other in class and not know.
I know we cannot say who we are taking. I'm in A&P 1 at Tomball in a hybrid course. If I can be of any help I will do so. I have a study guide for A&P that's about 90 pages. In addition, I have a pdf of one of the books (I think it's Marieb).
Goodxluck in class everyone and hope to see you in nursing school in the Fall!

I'm taking English to bump my score and does anybody now if re-taking A&P 1 lecture and Microbiology lecture to bump your GPA will affect the way the look at your application by minimizing points? Thank you so much for your information.
Only the english and A&P class matter along with your HESI score, I haven't taken Microbiology yet and I got accepted
I went to Cy-Fair and didn’t pass the third semester of med surg. I have to start all over. I applied at cy-fair again, with a 7.68, and I was NOT accepted. I was, however, accepted to the Tomball location. I have heard more positive reviews about Tomball so I am excited to start this new journey. I guess my advice here is that this whole thing is no joke. Study your *** off. Don’t take anything for granted (cause I did) and just believe in yourself. I went through a divorce my first time around and I have 3 kids. Life WILL 100% get in the way; always remember to put your own priorities first! We will all accomplish this goal! It might not be at the same time, but it will happen if you believe in yourself. Do. Not. Ever. Give. Up.

All my classes im taking are at HCC so not sure what are my chances but thank you so much for your kind words and inspiration I won’t give up.
I applied at HCC too. I was accepted there as well, but location wise, Tomball made more sense because of traffic. Regardless, when applying, grades matter!! And to pass, they don’t give any cushion. I failed with a 74.2!! Twice!! And they don’t care. Aced clinical, but not theory. They don’t care. You have to pass both. It’s hard, but it can be done. Just devote yourself to it and it’ll will happen!
