Lone Star Fall 2020

Published

It may be early but around this time, those applying to Fall 2020 are engulfed in an A&P course trying for the grades needed. Collaboration and early encouragement can only help. Fall seems to be the large cycle and a lot have had the same instructors. Some of us could even be sitting by each other in class and not know.

I know we cannot say who we are taking. I'm in A&P 1 at Tomball in a hybrid course. If I can be of any help I will do so. I have a study guide for A&P that's about 90 pages. In addition, I have a pdf of one of the books (I think it's Marieb).

Goodxluck in class everyone and hope to see you in nursing school in the Fall!

Okay!. That’s great. Concerning the initial hep b , are we turning in a positive or negative titre?. The website is kinda confusing.

It has to be a quantitative titer if I remember correctly...

It’s has to be quantitative which means it shows an actual number, not just positive or negative. The titer is testing for immunity so it might also say “positive” if you have immunity, or “negative” if you do not, in which case you would have to get a new series of the vaccine.

Hi all!

I was wondering if we had an updated score list for applicants on this forum? I have a 7.68 and I still have time to retest if needed so I wanted to see if it's necessary.

Hello, I thought the deadline was on the 5th for HESI. Has it changed again?

Hey! Are you referring to the fall application period? If so, Friday was the last day to take the HESI.

The fall HESI deadline was 6/5 the Spring HESI deadline for kingwood and CyFair is 7/31. My eyes got big for a minute LOL, but I verified

Okay thank you. Oh also been looking at this since forever and I don’t understand what needs to be done here.

Has anyone else still not had their HESI score entered that completed before the deadline. Or how long did yours take? Everything is there but I cannot submit my application until then but I was told it was already received.
