Hi there!!!! So I have been reading the "Hopefuls" forums from previous years and decided that it is time to start our own. I believe that this is a great way to support each other and compare our HESI scores. So here we come, all of the Lone Star students who are planning on applying for the ADN program please share your scores. I am applying to Kingwood for the spring semester 2017. My HESI score is 7.45 and I am a little bit worried that this could be not enough.
i tried no to check my email every 5 minutes to avoid raising my blood pressure. Please if anybody has an update for NH, share because this decision will definitely define my next step.
Also if anybody took pharmacology online please share your experience. I am really not a fan of online classes. Thanks
I'm taking Pharmacology online currently! I'm actually really glad I did. It's a lot of work, but it is manageable. Every week, I have anywhere from 2-4 chapters to read and take notes on, an assessment for each chapter, and a quiz for the week. Some weeks we also have either drug cards or a discussion board topic to complete. Hope this helps
It depends, do you work full time? If so it might be hard. It's just A LOT of information. I spend a minimum of 10 hours/week on this class, so if it was 8 weeks I'd probably be spending about 20. I do have a high A, and I work part time, but it's definitely a very time consuming class. You have to know A LOT to do well I think.

Definitely understand where you're coming from, I scored a 76 on the a&p section and my gpa is only a 2.5 so I didn't bother applying for the ADN program
