Hi there!!!! So I have been reading the "Hopefuls" forums from previous years and decided that it is time to start our own. I believe that this is a great way to support each other and compare our HESI scores. So here we come, all of the Lone Star students who are planning on applying for the ADN program please share your scores. I am applying to Kingwood for the spring semester 2017. My HESI score is 7.45 and I am a little bit worried that this could be not enough.
Hello guys I applied for the ADN program at Kingwood. Yesterday I recieved an email from Valerie Aguirre at LSC asking for my ss card. I have the deferred action permit. When I told her about it she said she would submit my information to the BON and see what they would say. Does anyone know of anyone who has been accepted into the program with this permit in the past???
U don't have to do it before. If you already took the class then u will not have to take it in the program. Thats all... But it does not give u an advantage in relation to acceptance into the program. Atleast not at lonestar. If you choose to take it before the program, It will reduce ur workload for the semester.
You could ask Valerie or email her about it. You can only be enrolled in the course via the academic advisor of the nursing program. You cannot enroll on your own. But I think taking Pharmacology your first semester helps a lot. I do have a friend taking the course right now and she said the instructor has changed and that it is more difficult than when I took it. :-(

I know I can't be the only one who checked their email today, just in case history repeated itself. (Last Spring, it took a week for decisions!)
