We have had some of our LC's recommend to moms who have abundant supply that they can make milk-shakes for their husband & older children (some school age). Guess they could bring in some extra cash by selling to this store.

Ewwww, what grosses me out is that the store is sold out. Who would pay $22 to drink a stranger's breast milk????

I had a patient once whose whole family (3 children plus new baby and husband) used her breast milk regualarly on breakfast cereal, etc.

As long as it's pasteurized, I don't really have a problem with it other than thinking how many really sick babies could benefit from the donated milk.

Thank you! This is the best use for human breast milk? Really??

Anything to make a buck, I guess. Are the donators screened for drug use? Why can't the milk be sent to starving nations or given to disenfranchised babies? This is weird.
