No, I got a call from the admissions director. It still feel very weird, almost not real.

I got accepted!!! :') best phone call ever!!!

Congrats guys! Great Job! Haven't received the call yet so I probably didn't make it. I got an interview for Kaiser so I am still hopeful. I will reapply again next year if I don't get in to any crna school because LLU is definitely the top school for me. Happy Holidays!

Good luck man, I did not get an interview with Kaiser. So go kill it and follow your dreams.

Any willing to share what they were asked in the interview?

I interviewed to this school awhile back.. Its a panel interview with the directors, SRNAs, CRNAs, MDAs. They look at your resume and your specialty and will ask you specific details about it.. (i.e. If you're a cardiac nurse, they may ask "how does epinephrine work on a molecular level") Whatever ICU you specialized in, just know the minutiae in and out like its on the back of your hand! Good luck!

My friends and I (three ppl) interviewed last year. All of us ended up on their alternate list. The interview was like 5-7 min maximum. They will ask you what kind if patient you take care of, what med, how does it work? How to deal with difficult _(position/profession)_, They did not ask me if I had any questions for them. lol. They told me they would contact me in 2 wks. Not even a smile. Everyone was sitting in front of me. but the interim director was standing, crossing her arms, and looking at me from my right corner of the room. Nobody was smiling. I am not sure if they did it on purpose or not. Anyway, I was terrified and shocked because it was so different from my other interviews. I left there thinking there was no way I was a good fit in their program, or the program was a good fit for me. My other two friends felt the same way, but they ended up going to USC and Samuel Merritt, but I never got a phone call from them. The rumour is if you work in ICU at LLU, you will have better chance. Not sure if it's true or not.

This year, I applied to LLU again , just for my back-up option. I ended up getting accepted into Duke Uni. and withdrew my application from LLU.

Good luck !

The interview is different now. No clinical questions. Just practice non clinical questions.

That makes more sense. Like you put down on your application what drugs you use, learn by heart, and tell them about it. I would recommend them, open more interviewing dates and spend more time to interview their applicants, so they get to know them better.

They do not have to be... rush or intense (to see applicant's pressure ?!?) because they cannot get the best of applicant's personality. Thats' my personal opinion.

I truly didn't find Duke's interview that stressful, other than my own produced internal stress! I made a joke at the beginning and made them all laugh, which kinda helped me relax tho.

Anyone else interviewing at the end of January?
