Hey guys anyone applying for this?

Anybody have any tips or have gotten any interviews for PEDS?

Does any one know what questions hospitals typically ask?

same here...the nurse recruiter said they would e-mail us in a few weeks when I first applied...

I'm thinking that it is a bad sign that I haven't heard anything yet; anyone get a call/email yet either way? I'm biting my nails.... I know the odds are tough.

I got an email from HR saying my application was forwarded to the manager...it was sometime last week I think.

Way to go - I think that means you passed the screening; I did not get that email - not a good sign, sigh... good luck!

Not necessarily! They are probably still sending out emails. Loma Linda's process is a bit slower than others, I've found. Don't let it get you down!

I applied for NICU and just had my interview yesterday. Don't get discouraged though because I'm an internal at LLUMC. They love to hear stories so have a lot prepared for those "tell me about a time..." questions!

okay. how did it go? i applied to nicu too. whats ur background?

I think it went ok. I can never tell with interviews. My background...I got licensed in January, graduated with a BSN from Loma Linda in June, did my practicum on the unit, worked here for 3 years. But this is my 2nd time applying so just because you're an internal doesn't guarantee a position.

graduated in may. working in psych right now. applying everywhere! haha have pals nrp acls bls to make my resume look better. *sigh* cant wait to be done job searching!
