Loma Linda Nursing Fall 2018

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hello everyone, I am applying to LLU BSN program to start in Fall of 2018. I just wanted to start a forum and see how everyone is doing, and help each other with updates.

I actually got a call from Dora to have my interview. Does every qualifying applicant get an interview or only the potential candidates to be admitted get an interview?

Thank you

Has anyone called yet? @jxanne1018 do you know what score they look for on the critical thinking?

I got impatient and emailed. They said that they are finishing up interviews and should be meeting for committee next week. Does that mean that they'll have final decisions next week? Is it one meeting or several? The wait is killing me! Lol

Tbh idk

Because the first time I applied Dora said that my scores looked good í ½í¹„ and that if I don't get into I would be put into the waitlist but that didn't happened

I know someone that is currently in the program she got a 15 on her critical thinking like how I did

Our scorings and gpa were basically the same

í ½í¸¤í ½í¸¤ well if they don't take me again this time and the other schools I applied to don't take me too í ½í¸ I'm going with my last resort West Coast í ½í¸

What are your stats? GPA and critical thinking/teas? They said that fall is the toughest one to get into and winter is usually a little easier.

Teas 75.3

Gpa is 3.6

Critical thinking 15

They told me there's a chance I could get beaten out by a higher gpa, mine is a 3.6 also.

Teas:81

Critical Thinking:20

Those stats are pretty good. Why didn't you get in last term? Did they say?

Dora basically told me that it was just very competitive since a lot of people applied

The minimum score you can get for the critical thinking test is 12. As for the TEAS, they look for 75% and higher

Also, I called Loma and asked of when we will be hearing back and they said most likely the 3rd week of April. From what I know from my friends that are at Loma, around 106 people applied for fall this year and they only accept 58-60 students per quarter

Oh they lowered the one for the critical thinking o.o
