Hi! I started this forum so we can keep each other updated on applications, interviews and stuff. What unit did you guys apply to? I applied to L&D and postpartum 😊

I'm still waiting on NICU. They said by the second week of March they'll make their decision. Did the ED happen to give you a timeline.

Hey! Have you received a call from the NICU? I also had an interview

Hi guys! Please be on the lookout if you're waiting for a phone call, I think nicu is making their offers today. I just got a call, but they hung up really fast so I'm assuming they'd forgotten I already got a call. Good luck!

Congrats!

Thank you! they called at 1

Congratulations to those who have received a call today! By any chance does anyone know how many positions are available for nicu?

anyone who got accepted into nicu feel comfortable sharing what there experience was or what you had on your resume? because I keep applying and nothing.

hi! I don't mind sharing, and I hope your opportunity is close ahead. I have two years of experience as a tech in the nicu and I also did my preceptorship here. I feel like it helped me with my interview questions to be able to give examples BUT if you don't have anything like that on your resume I don't think you should worry bc I applied to so many new grad positions since august and I still didn't receive many interviews at all. I didn't go to lluh for nursing school and I don't have any previous connections there so if that's you too please don't feel discouraged from trying again! I've heard from so many people that it's insanely hard to get into new grad programs right now so it seems like it's just taking a bit longer for us to get in. I hope that was helpful!
