Hi! I started this forum so we can keep each other updated on applications, interviews and stuff. What unit did you guys apply to? I applied to L&D and postpartum 😊
peachynewgrad said:hi! I don't mind sharing, and I hope your opportunity is close ahead. I have two years of experience as a tech in the nicu and I also did my preceptorship here. I feel like it helped me with my interview questions to be able to give examples BUT if you don't have anything like that on your resume I don't think you should worry bc I applied to so many new grad positions since august and I still didn't receive many interviews at all. I didn't go to lluh for nursing school and I don't have any previous connections there so if that's you too please don't feel discouraged from trying again! I've heard from so many people that it's insanely hard to get into new grad programs right now so it seems like it's just taking a bit longer for us to get in. I hope that was helpful!
Thank you sm!

Aw no way! Ugh such a bummer, you're not alone I feel your pain. Don't worry, God has something planned for us! 😊

Hey! Current employee here. I'm picking up my new badge for residency today.
No interview questions. Bring your ID, Social Security card. They go over policy, health insurance options, take your pic for badge. Easy stuff. Congrats!
